    This Dining chair is a very rare find from the heart of Amish country. Made and formed and built entirely by hand in a small Amish home shop, of rustic and amazingly beautiful walnut. It is quite heavy because walnut is even heavier than oak and a very dense wood with a grain that almost heavenly in its beauty. It is built to be used on a daily basis in a busy and wonderful home with parents and grandparents who love to sit with kids and grandkids and kids on their lap! Walnut is also an fairly expensive wood that makes this chair an investment rather than a casual purchase. Ready to ship usually in less than three months.

    Baby Furniture Wood High Chair Amish SUNBURST back
    This Amish baby furniture oak SUNRISE high chair is fine USA Amish craftsmanship. We include a waist strap at no charge for safety reasons. It is shown finished in a semi-dark stain, Kid's Safe Boston. It has two coats of durable finish. It is very comfortable and sturdy. There is one coat of stain, applied once and then touched up and wet sanded as necessary, followed by two coats of kid's safe polyurethane. Slide trays take a couple of weeks longer, since we are one of the few Amish sellers that provide them, so those high chairs are custom built in a couple of weeks. We like the additional safety of the slide tray compared to a lift up tray, and our customers seem to agree. Plus as the child gets older, it is possible to unscrew the brackets on the chair for the slides and use the chair for a toddler for many additional years. Furniture paint stores sell a matching wax stick that can fill the holes for looks when the chair is used as a youth chair, but they are still there if the chair needs to be converted back to a high chair at some point. Lift tray chairs can have the tray flipped over the back, and then the chair can also be used as a toddler chair as the child grows older. . The exact dimensions are floor to top of seat: 20 3/4 in, Floor to top of arms: 27 in, Floor to top of back: 36 1/2 in, Seat depth 11 in, Seat width to top of Arms 14 1/2 inches.     This Large Amish Wooden Raised Panel Hope Chest measures 46 inches long by 20 inches deep by 21 inches high. (Shown in Cherry) Includes two piece carved and molded fancy feet. Also available in Oak, Cedar, Elm, Walnut and QSWO. Only the outside and the inside of the lid is finished in an ALL Cedar chest. A Lock is included. Optional raised panel design on the rear also. Delivery is included in the price. Normally Ships in 6 - 12 weeks.

    which is a unique plus for our customers, since we now live in Holmes County Ohio, the home of over 35,000 Amish here and in the nearby Counties!
    All fitting of parts, finish sanding and actual design are done
    according to the rules of honest Amish craftsmanship
    here in Holmes County, Ohio.

    and many choices of stains.

     toys, kitchen furnishings, bar stools, Amish baby furniture,

    Our son Bill Bedford lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy from Feb 19, 1970 when he was born to October 19, 2013 when he went Home to be with the Lord. We miss him terribly.     Weather and other delays often occur in the Amish and our community, thus we are completely unable to GUARANTEE any delivery. We and they will do our best, but we are not liable in any way for delays, regardless of the cause! Because hardwood is a natural product, created by nature and then finished by skilled Amish craftsmen, you can expect the usual variations in wood color, stain color, some degree of cherry pits, even in so-called clear cherry (Filled for regular cherry, normally open for Rustic Cherry). Knots vary from minor to major for the Rustic versions of the hardwoods, QSWO, OAK, CHERRY and HICKORY. Our sizes are nominal and should be correct, but we may also make errors. If a given dimension is critical, please call to let us know that and to confirm the dimensions. Differences of an inch or so are not errors, but just the result of the hand made process as practiced by the Amish builders. Thanks! (CLEAR) CHERRY WILL ALWAYS HAVE DARK VISIBLE STREAKS, IT IS THE TRUE NATURE OF THE CHERRY HARDWOOD in the U.S.A    .

    Hardwoods may contain mineral deposits, pits, gum streaks, small pin holes, knots, color differences, unusual grain patterns, darker heart wood, lighter sap wood, etc. However, it is these attributes that comprise the beauty of hardwood furniture.
