This full size adult's hickory Oak GLIDER rocker is a fine example of Amish craftsmanship with two coats of a very durable clear finish and it is very comfortable besides.
Jumbo with eight slats is shown - standard adult size has seven slats.
The slats are attached with bronze nails for strength and durability.
The entire chair is then assembled.
It is unique in the world of Amish Hickory Rockers because all major parts of the chair are fastened tightly!
The seat and back are Hardwood oak and are constructed for maximum comfort and great good looks. The glider mechanism is also oak hardwood.
The glider moves on over a dozen sealed stainess ball bearings for a very smooth operation.
The Hardwood seating is comfortable and spaced quite regularly as is shown in the photo.

The Nails are bronze with a tight holding shank.
All major parts of the chair are fastened tightly!
The seat and back and arms can be oak or hickory or burnt or regular cherry or walnut for maximum comfort.
The oak seating is comfortable and spaced quite regularly as is shown in the photo for the oak seating hickory side chair.
The hickory seating is comfortable, but the slats are less even because that is the nature of hickory.
