The lid is finished also.
The rear panel is 3/4 inch oak veneer plywood for strength and security and resistance to warpage.
All other panels are 3/4 inch solid hardwood.
Overall size is about 17 inches high at the seat by 36 inches wide by about 17 inches deep.
The back is 20 inches high in the middle and the sides are about 19 inches tall on average.

The space occupied by the corner toy chest along each wall is 31 inches.
The distance from the middle of the front to the corner of the wall is 28 inches.
